AUTHOR NAME : Prof. Wasiq Raza, Prof. Imran Khan, Tanvi Badhaye, Aniket Deodhe, Ashwini Rai, Sanket Zade, Abhay Singh Solanki

ABSTRACT : This study explores the development of an IoT-enabled home automation system that integrates a smart circuit breaker (MCB) and an adaptive temperature-based fan control mechanism. The proposed system enhances electrical safety by allowing users to operate the MCB both manually and automatically, ensuring greater control over power distribution. Additionally, the system optimizes energy consumption and enhances occupant comfort by dynamically adjusting fan speed in response to real-time temperature fluctuations. When the ambient temperature rises beyond a predefined threshold, the system increases the fan speed, while a temperature drops results in a proportional reduction in speed. Smart sensors continuously monitor temperature and power loads, transmitting data to a microcontroller for real-time processing and automated decision-making. Cloud connectivity further facilitates remote access and control via a user-friendly mobile application. This research underscores the potential of IoT in modernizing household electrical systems, fostering intelligent energy management, improved safety, and seamless automation for enhanced user convenience.

ABSTRACT : Glass is a special substance that is commonly utilized for many different purposes and comes in a wide range of colours and shapes. A significant amount of glass garbage is composed of coloured bottles. Glass garbage may be less harmful to the environment if it is recycled. Some indecomposable wastes, however, are buried. The ecosystem will suffer as a result of this. Using coloured glass as a replacement material in other industries, including the concrete industry, is a practical way to reduce the amount of non-recyclable trash. The impact of substituting discarded glass particles for aggregate on the weight and compressive strength of concrete is examined in this study. 36 cubic examples were cast in order to accomplish the goal; the specimens were composed of grade M30 concrete mix, with leftover glass bead fragments mixed in with the remaining specimens. To prevent the Alkali Silica Reaction (ASR), Alccofine 1203 was added to the mixture of glass bead specimens. Overall, the findings demonstrated that the concretes compressive strength was enhanced by substituting glass bead particles for fine aggregate by more than 20%. In each case, the weight of the concrete is almost the same. In summary, the findings suggest that 20% is the ideal percentage for substituting glass particles for aggregate.

17. To Improve User and Architecture Part of Competitive Programming Website using Docker

AUTHOR NAME : Shreyas Sable, Saujanya Deshmukh, Parag Lakade, Sachi Katkar, Priti Mujbaile, Shiwani Mahure, Dr. S. W. Mohod

ABSTRACT : With advancements in Web Technologies, a huge number of activities have transitioned from the local environment to the cloud environment. Cloud environment offers an easy-to-use solution to the user that does not require any setup, infrastructure and maintenance. One example of such a transition is Remote Code Execution (RCE). Prior to this, every system was required to have various language compilers/interpreters installed with their tooling. Remote code execution has allowed users to directly run code on cloud environments and obtain results. This saves them the effort, disk space and compute power. Widely used examples of such are Online Compilers. Although these cloud environments have provided convenience, they are often vulnerable to malicious code. Such code can often cause harm such as fork bombs, DDoS attacks, data theft and destruction to the server hosting the cloud environment. Implementing safeguards against such attacks are cumbersome, maintained manually and work only for well-known and predicted attacks. We propose a system where remote code execution occurs inside a sandbox environment. A sandbox environment is a safe file system where the user can perform actions without affecting the host system. Once the attack is done, the affected sandbox is replaced with a new healthy sandbox.

ABSTRACT : This study investigates the impact of ethanol-gasoline blends on the performance and emissions of a spark ignition (SI) engine. Various ethanol concentrations (10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%) were mixed with gasoline using an ultrasonic bath to ensure optimal blending. Results indicated that increasing ethanol content improved power output, brake specific fuel consumption, and thermal efficiency, while also reducing harmful exhaust emissions. However, a decrease in volumetric efficiency was noted. Overall, the findings suggest that ethanol blends can enhance engine performance and reduce environmental impact, making them a viable alternative to traditional fuels. The physicochemical properties of iso-butanol additives in ethanol-gasoline blends and their impact on the performance and emission characteristics of a spark-ignition engine. The ethanol-gasoline blend, specifically at a 10% volume basis of ethanol (E10), is enhanced with varying proportions of iso-butanol additives (5%, 10%, and 15%), designated as E10B5, E10B10, and E10B15. The study aims to determine how these additives influence engine performance metrics, such as power output and efficiency, while also analysing exhaust emissions, including carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrocarbons (HC), and nitrogen oxides (NOx). The findings indicate that the addition of iso-butanol improves both engine performance and reduces harmful emissions, highlighting the potential of these blended fuels as a viable alternative to conventional gasoline.

42. Self-Healing Concrete: Advancing Durable and Resilient Infrastructure

AUTHOR NAME : Tushar Parate, Ketan Maskar, Pratik Mendhe, Rushikesh Koshti, Aditya Chinchalkar

ABSTRACT : Concrete, the very basis of modern construction, is vulnerable to cracking, affecting structural stability and escalating upkeep expenditures. Self-healing concrete introduces a pioneering idea where cracking can be independently filled by automatically self-repairing concrete. In this document, major self-healing approaches have been elaborated upon: autogenous healing, encapsulated healing agents, and microbial-induced healing. Autogenous healing employs unused cement particles, whereas encapsulated healing implements microcapsules with healing agents which get liberated as the cracking process initiates. Microbial healing uses bacteria that form calcium carbonate to close cracks. These methods increase crack closure, strength regain, and durability. Self-healing concrete minimizes repair frequency, reduces lifecycle costs, and reduces carbon emissions related to reconstruction. While initial expense is greater, long-term savings make it an attractive solution for critical infrastructure, such as bridges, tunnels, pavements, and marine structures. More investigation is needed to maximize healing efficiency, determine multi-cycle performance, and establish normative test protocols.
