Abstract :

Optimizing mechanical productivity is crucial for maintaining efficiency and competitiveness in industrial operations. This paper addresses the challenges faced by Atharva Thermal Energy, including inefficient maintenance practices, limited predictive maintenance capabilities, and communication barriers. To mitigate these issues, a comprehensive mechanical optimization initiative is proposed, incorporating predictive and breakdown maintenance strategies within a structured hierarchical framework. The initiative aims to integrate predictive maintenance, streamline breakdown maintenance procedures, and implement a role-based access system. The scope includes the development of a maintenance strategy, integration with predictive maintenance tools, establishment of efficient communication channels, and provision of training programs. The anticipated benefits include reduced unplanned downtime, enhanced equipment reliability, optimized maintenance resources, and improved operational efficiency. The methodology involves a phased approach encompassing needs assessment, role definition, access system implementation, training, tool integration, pilot testing, and full-scale deployment. Regular user feedback and iterative improvements ensure the application effectiveness and usability.
