S. Mehta Abstract : The Design and Simulation of an Intelligent Collision Alert System for Autonomous Vehicles aims to enhance safety on the roads. This system utilizes advanced sensor technologies such as lidar, radar, and cameras to detect potential collisions in real time. Through sophisticated algorithms and AI, it analyzes data from these sensors to predict and prevent accidents by alerting the vehicles autonomous driving system to take evasive actions. Simulation plays a crucial role in testing and refining the systems performance under various scenarios, including different road conditions and traffic situations. By simulating countless scenarios, engineers can optimize the systems algorithms and parameters, ensuring its reliability and effectiveness in real-world environments. This integration of intelligent collision alert systems with autonomous vehicles represents a significant step towards achieving safer transportation systems, reducing accidents, and ultimately saving lives.
