Study on Earthquake Resistance Building with And Without Light Weight Material

Abstract :

This paper investigates earthquake-resistant building design methods to create structures that can with stand earthquakes of various strengths. It analyses techniques like base isolation, dampers, and bracings to reduce the impact of earthquakes on buildings. The analysis considers the different seismic zones in India, a country known for its seismic activity. The study utilizes ETABS software, a common tool for structural analysis of buildings, to evaluate a buildings resistance to seismic forces. By examining various seismic retrofitting strategies, this research aims to contribute to the development of more earthquake-resistant infrastructure.
