Advancements in Robotics & Designing and Programming a 5-DOF Robotic Arm with Arduino

Abstract :

This research paper explores the recent advancements in robotics, specifically focusing on the design and programming aspects of a 5-degree-of-freedom (DOF) robotic arm utilizing Arduino technology. The paper provides an in-depth examination of the mechanical design, kinematic analysis, hardware selection, and software programming required for the development of the robotic arm. By leveraging Arduino microcontroller boards and acrylic plates for structural components, the research elucidates innovative approaches to robotic arm construction and control. Furthermore, the paper discusses key concepts such as kinematics, forward and inverse kinematics, and the degree of freedom in robotic systems. Through this investigation, insights into the integration of robotics and Arduino technology are presented, highlighting the potential applications and implications in various fields such as manufacturing, healthcare, and education.
