Study Of Clutch System Used in Vehicles Based on Literature Survey

Abstract :

Clutch is the important system in any vehicle to engage and disengage the engine power the drive wheels. As per the type of vehicle and the vehicle design, different types of clutch systems have been used now a days. Clutch system also makes driving experience more smoother and controlled. Single plate clutch, multi plate clutch, hydraulic clutch etc. are the examples of popular clutch systems. In this paper the research available on clutch assembly system is studied well and explained. Several researchers have studied this topic well. The main aim of this paper is to use their study to improve the knowledge about clutch system and their main important components. Study of different materials used for friction plate or clutch plate is also studied in this paper. As per the study done and the points explained in various research papers, conclusion is drawn.
