International Journal of Advanced Innovative Technology in Engineering (IJAITE)Study of Vertical Farming Challenges And Future Perspective Pallavi Raju Dharme, Ar. Ankush Khandare Abstract : With the use of modern technology and intense farming practise, production can be enormously increased by vertical farming. With the shortage of water, the effects of climate change, the manpower shortage, and the shrinking amount of fertile land, vertical farming is emerging as a solution. In a neighbourhood where fresh produce is hard to come by, vertical farming offers a job opportunity, helps the local economy, and produces nutritious food. Growing food production, preserving high-quality products, ensuring product safety, and promoting sustainable urban farming are all advantages of vertical farming. The main benefits of vertical framing include positive effects on the environment, society, and economy. Additionally, vertical farms can offer ways to improve global food security. This study is a critical analysis of related publications that have been published in pertinent journals and online scientific databases. To promote quick growth and maximum output, crops are cultivated utilizing a variety of growing media in vertical farming, including per-lite, coco-peat, and vermiculite. Vegetables are the greatest candidates for vertical farming since they have a short lifespan and offer significant net returns. Keywords :
