Anushree S. Dakhane, Ar. Prof. Snehal Vidhale

Abstract :

Architectural design is a multi-step process that starts with concept creation and ends with design realisation. The architecture and design of space are influenced by a variety of elements. Colour is one of the fundamental qualities of a realised home design. It has been extensively explored how colours complex nature affects art, culture, psychology, and religion. It has been noted that colour is a key aspect of the human visual sense. Numerous theories and presumptions have been developed regarding the aesthetic comfort provided by colours and their impact on the human psyche. In the study, the significance of colours in architectural design is discussed. This includes residential structures as well as public buildings like offices, hospitals, and educational facilities. The analysis is done on the significance of employing particular colours in day and night areas of residential areas. Considered are the experiments carried out in this area that demonstrate a wide range of effects on many facets of human existence. Conclusions on the use of colours in the architectural design of public spaces are reached after analysing the results of the experiments that were undertaken. It has been demonstrated that they have an impact on staff morale and productivity, patient recovery in hospitals, and the effectiveness of student work in classrooms. The purpose of the study is to examine how the colours used in an interior affect the people who use that space.
