1. Study on Underwater Image Enhancement Techniques and Their Evaluation Metrics

AUTHOR NAME : Prajakta D. Charjan, Dr. P. R. Deshmukh

ABSTRACT : Underwater imaging poses unique challenges due to the adverse optical properties of water, leading to significant degradation in image quality. In this research paper, present a comprehensive study of underwater image enhancement techniques aimed at mitigating the detrimental effects of the underwater environment. We analyze and compare various traditional and state-of-the-art machine learning-based algorithms, discussing their strengths, limitations, and performance in different underwater imaging scenarios. Additionally, we explore evaluation metrics commonly used to assess the quality of enhanced underwater images and identify the remaining challenges in the field. This study serves as a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners interested in developing effective underwater image enhancement methods and advancing the field.

4. Passive Architectural Elements for Tropical Climate

AUTHOR NAME : Amol Narendra Gujrathi, Ar. Prof. Sanjay Deshmukh, Ar. Prof. Shekharsingh Thakur, Ar. Revati Mundhada

ABSTRACT : The use of passive architectural features for building design in Indias tropical environment is the main topic of this study paper. The paper offers a thorough assessment of the literature on the various passive design techniques that can be used to enhance indoor thermal comfort in tropical buildings. The study looks at the difficulties brought on by the hot, humid, and sunny environment of India, as well as the efficiency of passive architectural features in reducing these difficulties. The study also looks into the many design approaches applied to the placement of these components, such as the selection of the right materials, positioning, and orientation of apertures to encourage natural ventilation and the use of materials with a high thermal mass to lessen temperature variations. The study emphasises the advantages of including passive architectural features in building design, such as enhanced thermal comfort indoors, decreased energy use, and lower carbon footprint. The study makes suggestions for architects and designers regarding the best design approaches for passive building components in various tropical climates in India. The results of this study can help with energy-efficient and sustainable building design in India, enhancing indoor comfort while reducing environmental effect.

5. Architectural Solutions for Psychological Issues of Student’s Life at Hostel

AUTHOR NAME : Shilpa Vitthal Kade, Pooja Baporikar, Ar. Sanjay Deshmukh, Ar. Revati Mundhada

ABSTRACT : Nowadays due to hectic life and rising inflation of education parents prefer the residential school for the students. In general, students find residential school to be a lot of fun, and its something they will appreciate for the rest of their lives. But when the students enter the school and then they find some startup problems in the beginning. There are different kinds of students who will be forced to join residential school for many reasons, Naughty students who were sent to improve their character. Students who are bad at studies are sometimes forcefully sent to residential school by their parents to improve. Working parents sometimes send their children to residential school so that they can be looked after. Sometimes students willingly choose to be in residential school as they feel that they can attain freedom. So somewhere it is possible that can be taken care through architectural parameters which helps to reduce the health costs, anxiety of the students. And can encourage to the students which is really need in residential schools. The landscape is playing main role to improve the mental health. Being surrounded by greenery can helps to recover illness, stress and injury. Plants have a direct effect on our minds, which arise from experience and a persons background and nature. These psychological phenomena can be determined and calculated.

6. Parameters of Green Building Rating System and Application by Virtue of Architecture

AUTHOR NAME : Kanchan Mahulkar, Ar. Prof. Sanjay Deshmukh, Ar. Prof. Pooja Boparikar, Ar. Prof. Revati Mundhada

ABSTRACT : The term Green Building refers to a structure and using processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a buildings lifecycle. Research shows that Green Building improves tenants satisfaction and health, enabling higher individual productivity in respective areas of expertise. As a result of the increased interest in Green Building concepts and practices, a number of organizations have developed standards, codes and rating systems conservation of water, energy, and building materials, and occupant comfort and health. In this project report we shall study the various design parameters of Green Buildings. The Green Building as a concept holds a key to sustainable development. Today many countries have adopted some form of a formal Green Building rating system or other. The Concept emphasizes the need to consider the regional and global effects of building and development, their Rating system. In this report we study the practical guide lines for developing site-integrated buildings and maintaining the ecological integrity of the site. assessment of existing natural and cultural site characteristics, existing infrastructure, and building requirements. Efficiency and Conservation suggests specific methods of protecting natural watersheds, reducing water usage and pollution, and setting up systems to use grey- and blackwater.

7. The Role of Parametric Architecture in Modern Times

AUTHOR NAME : Jayant Sahebrao Patil, Ar. Sanjay Deshmukh, Ar. Prof. Shekharsingh Thakur, Ar. Revati Mundhada

ABSTRACT : This research paper on the role of parametric architecture in modern times is essential to explore the principles, benefits, and limitations of parametric design tools in building design and construction. The use of algorithms to generate forms and patterns based on specific parameters offers architects and designers flexibility, customization, and optimization of resource utilization. However, the high cost of software and hardware, limited compatibility with traditional construction methods, and the need for specialized skills are some of its limitations. This paper aims to study the relevance of parametric architecture in modern times and analyze its benefits and limitations in building design and construction. The study will also investigate case studies of successful implementation and formulate effective strategies for form design using parametric architecture
