1. A Review On Comparative Study of Composite Rcc and Steel Structure

AUTHOR NAME : MUSTAFA M. WAGH, ANKITA.M. SUKHIJA

ABSTRACT : Composite structure is gaining more popularity now days in construction area. Composite column like concrete filled steel tube is component with good performance resulting from the confinement effect of steel with concrete and design versatility. Composite structure has more advantage over RCC and steel frame structure. The study about the behavior and the characteristics of composite over RCC and steel is the prime need. In India concrete is very popular material of construction especially in case of medium and low risebuildings. And in case of high rise buildings steel is generally used and the composite construction is not that much popular but it is possible that composite construction can be more beneficial in case of medium and high rise buildings. Steel concrete composite construction can be built in place of RCC structures to get maximum advantage of steel and concrete and to produce efficient and economic structures. It is the decision of contractor or owner that which type of properties they require in the field and according to those properties the type of material can be chosen. This paper shows comparison of various aspects of building construction for steel, RCC as well as composite buildings considering various researches involve in this topic.

2. Study of Image Processing and Image Quality Assessment

AUTHOR NAME : PROF. YOGESH FUTANE

ABSTRACT : Day by day increasing the demand of image-based applications. It is important for efficient and reliable for image quality. Measuring the image quality is of fundamental importance for numerous image processing applications, where the aim of image quality assessment methods is to automatically evaluate the quality of images in agreement with human quality judgments. Numerous image quality assessment methods have been proposed over the past years to fulfill this goal. In this paper, we have study the image quality assessment methods for conventional image signals, as well as the newly emerged ones

3. Study of Design And Fabrication of Hole Drilling Machine For Tree Planting

AUTHOR NAME : SUYOG THAKARE

ABSTRACT : This project is about the design of a hole-drilling machine for planting trees. The technology of the deep compaction of soil in the vertical plane is examined. Relations and monograms are presented to determine the distance between drill holes and drilling speed in relation to the diameter and depth of the holes and the sequence in which they are expanded. A machine has been proposed that is going to address the shortcomings of the existing hole drilling methods and provide a solution to the problem of hole drilling for planting trees or even for other purposes such as for electricity, telephone and fencing poles The technology of the deep compaction of soil in the vertical plane is examined. Relations and monograms are presented to determine the distance between drill holes and drilling speed in relation to the diameter and depth of the holes and the sequence in which they are expanded. The dependence of the duration of soil compaction on the time spent performing the main and auxiliary operations are also determined.

4. Performance and Evaluation of Modified Solar Dryer For Batch of Product

AUTHOR NAME : ABHINAV D. SARDAR, DR. S. B. THAKRE, SAGAR M. CHARTHAL

ABSTRACT : The objective of this paper is to design, develop and evaluate performance of an Indirect-Type Passive pop can solar dryer in a passive mode using thermal energy storage and without thermal energy storage for the drying of product. Drying is one of the oldest methods using solar energy where the product such as vegetables, fruits, fish, and meat to be dried exposed directly to the sun. This method has many disadvantages such as spoilt products due to rain, wind, dust, insect infestation, animal attack and fungi. Foods should be dried rapidly, but the speed of drying will cause the outside becomes hard before the moisture inside has a chance to evaporate and it will affect the quality of dried product due to over drying. Food products, especially fruits and vegetables require hot air in the temperature range of 45–75 °C for safe drying.. This design was employed and has compared with the performance testing through parameters such as temperature, moisture content. It was shown that the use of pop can solar dryer reduced the drying time significantly and essentially provides better product quality compared with conventional drying method. The effect of temperature to moisture contents against time and rate of drying are studied in this research.
