ABSTRACT : The increasing demand for food production to feed the growing global population has led to the adoption of new technologies in agriculture. The Internet of Things (IoT) and solar power monitoring are two such technologies that have the potential to revolutionize agriculture by increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving yields. In this project, we propose an IoT-based smart agriculture system with solar power monitoring. The system will consist of various sensors and modules that will be used to monitor the soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors. The system will also include a solar power monitoring module that will measure the power generated by the solar panels used to power the system. The data collected by these sensors will be sent to a adafruit IO or Arduino IOT cloud (an IoT platform), where it will be stored and visualize. The system will be designed to be low-cost, easy to install, and operate, making it accessible to small-scale farmers. The use of solar power will also make the system more sustainable and reduce the dependence on traditional power sources. This project aims to demonstrate the potential of IoT and solar power monitoring in agriculture and to provide a roadmap for future research and development in this area.

4. An Approach of Ultrasonic Based Object Detection & Security System

AUTHOR NAME : Prof. Pradip Balbudhe, Yash Sherekar, Pravin Thawkar

ABSTRACT : Ultrasound is simply sound whose frequencies are too high to be heard by the mortal observance, thats to say the frequencies are above c 20 kHz. At the top end of the scale, ultrasound is used at frequentness up to several GHz. The main end of this system is to descry object that will be ahead of ultrasonic transducer. Utmost ultrasonic detectors are grounded on the principle of measuring the propagation time of sound between send and admit (propinquity switch). The hedge principle determines the distance from the detector to the glass (retro-reflective detector) or to an object (through-ray detector) in the measuring range. Ultrasonic detectors are grounded on the measured propagation time of the ultrasonic signal. They emit high-frequency sound swells which reflect on an object. The objects to be detected may be solid, liquid, grainy or in greasepaint form. It sends an ultrasonic palpitation out at 40 kHz which travels through the air and if there is a handicap or object, it will bounce back to the detector. By calculating the trip time and the speed of sound, the distance can be calculated. Ultrasonic detectors are a great result for the discovery of clear objects.

AUTHOR NAME : Prof. Mohini Gawande, Ms. Aachal Kamble, Ms. Mayuri Kapgate

ABSTRACT : The paper reports on an Internet of Things (IoT) based health monitoring and tracking system for soldiers. The proposed system can be mounted on a soldiers body to track their health status and current location using GPS. In todays world, war is an important factor in the security of any nation. Initially the GPS takes continuous input data from the satellite and stores the latitude and longitude values in the buffer of the AT89s52 microcontroller. If we want to track the vehicle, we have to send a message to the GSM device, through which it is activated. It is also activated by detecting an accident on the shock sensor attached to the vehicle. Disables the GPS in parallel using a relay. Once the GSM is activated it takes the last received latitude and longitude position values from the buffer and sends a message to a specific number or laptop predefined in the program. Once a message is sent to a predefined device, GSM is deactivated and GPS is activated. The ability to track vehicles is useful in many applications, including personal vehicle security, public transportation systems, fleet management, and others.

ABSTRACT : This Paper shows the function of water bottle cap which heat This report shows the function of water bottle cap which heat the inner liquid by using the 12 Volts batteries or electric supply. During the Corona period people try to maintain hygienic condition. By using this portable water cap two people can use same water in cool form and in hot form. This bottle is a combination of kettle and thermos bottle, in kettle the liquid we put get heat by using electricity and the coil inside it. In thermos bottle the liquid whether it is water, milk or tea it tries to remain in its original temperature. A portable water thermos is an insulating storage vessel that greatly lengthens the time over which its contents remain hotter or cooler than the flask. The vacuum flask consists of two vessels, one placed within the other and joined at the neck. The gap between the two vessels is partially evacuated of air, creating a partial vacuum that reduces heat conduction or convection. Heat transfer by thermal radiation may be minimized by silvering flask surfaces facing the gap but can become problematic if the flasks contents or surroundings are very hot. Hence vacuum flasks usually hold contents below the boiling point of water. Most heat transfer occurs through the neck and opening of the flask, where there is no vacuum.

ABSTRACT : India is an agriculture-based country where 70% of people depend on agricultural produce. But if we notice that as the population increases, the farm is divided among the families and therefore the average farmer in India had only two acres. Financially, the farmers are also very poor because they cannot afford tractors and other expensive equipment, so they use traditional farming. Basically, many farmers in India also use ox, horse and buffalo for farming. It does not meet the energy needs of agriculture compared to other countries in the world. So we think that human and animal efforts can be replaced by some advanced mechanization that suits the small farmer economically and laboriously. So we develop this device to meet all this need and solve the problem of manpower.

AUTHOR NAME : Krupadan Samayya Jangam, Karan Sunil Biswas, Roshan Laxman Gaikwad, Ratan sunil Sarkar

ABSTRACT : Concrete is being used most widely worldwide and needs to be correctly designed and utilized in RCC structures to sustain the load throughout its life span. people want a longer span of slabs for better appearance and spacing. To get longer spans, we as civil engineers also have to increase the depth of slab due to which it increases the dead weight of concrete which affect the other construction parameters. To minimize the dead load of concrete we are adopting bubble deck technology in which we will use hollow balls which reduces concrete up to certain limit and will reduce the self-weight of the structure. The question may arises by using hollow balls that it may weak the concrete, but we know that concrete is strong in compression but weaker in tension so to counter act this problem we add steel bars in tension zone as steel are strong in tension. We are using hollow balls instead of concrete as there is no need of concrete in a zone of tension where there is need of steel bars. By adopting bubble deck technology we will reduce the use of concrete which reduces the concrete also reduces the cost of concrete which is replaced.

ABSTRACT : India is an agriculture based country where 70% of people depend on agricultural produce.

AUTHOR NAME : Rupali R. Rahangdale, Bhushan G. Gurnule, Aarti S. Dupare, Prof. Vipin Jais

ABSTRACT : The Faradays law of Electromagnetic Induction is the working principle behind A.C.-D.C. generators, which contributes major part of the generated electricity utilized today. To achieve the goal, we have used a thin strip of stretch resistant material which naturally have the property of resisting the applied stretching force. The length of this stretch resistant material will be setup so as the incoming airflow will make the thin strip to vibrate at its resonant frequency. This will create high amplitude mechanical vibrations on the thin strip. Now, these vibrations will be passed to the piezoelectric material. Piezoelectric materials have the property to exhibit the piezoelectric effect, which will convert the high amplitude mechanical vibrations passed by thin strip to the piezoelectric material into electrical discharge and hence, we generated electricity from wind using Piezoelectric Effect & Resonance. Due to less moving parts in our setup, it is theoretically more efficient in high wind conditions where a windmill usually fails to work. The only moving part is the thin strip which moves in a flapping motion hence, the generator is named as flapping generator. Even though the generated electricity is in lesser amount, we can create an array of number of such setups to increase the output electricity (as we do in solar energy generation) as per our requirement

ABSTRACT : A phase selector is a mechanism used to change or switch power phases in relation to the availability of power in one of the phases. For decades, phase failures in power supply phases were common, requiring manual switching of fuses from one phase to another. However, this paper focuses on the design of phase selectors that use an automatic switching mechanism. During operation in the event of a grid failure on power supply from the public grid, this diverts consumer loads to available power sources, automatically detects when power supply is restored during the failure phase, and restores load to this source. During the course of this construction, several tests were performed, including continuity testing of contactors and relay coils for low resistance, continuity testing of contacts of materials used for free current flow, conductivity testing of wires, and the overall system simulated. Using the electronic software Proteus. In addition, engineering losses occur naturally and are caused by power consumption in transmission lines, transformers, and other power system components. Technical losses in transmission and distribution are calculated using information about total load and total energy charges. It should be noted that while technology advances, so does immoral activity. Phase blackouts are a big problem in homes and industries, so our project aims to shift the load to another phase when one phase is disconnected. Also, when the load increases, the phase shifts

ABSTRACT : The drinking water crisis in Asia is reaching alarming proportions. It might very soon attain the nature of global crisis. Hence, it is of utmost importance to preserve water for human beings. In many houses there is unnecessary wastage of water due to overflow in overhead tanks. Automatic Water Level Indicator and Controller can provide a solution to this problem. The operation of water level controller works upon the fact that water conducts electricity due to the presence of minerals within it. So water can be used to open or close a circuit. As the water level rises or falls, different circuits in the controller send different signals. These signals are used to switch ON or switch OFF the motor pump as per our requirements. The total amount of water available on Earth has been estimated at 1.4 billion cubic kilometres, enough to cover the planet with a layer of about 3 km. About 95% of the Earth water is in the oceans, which is unfit for human consumption. About 4% is locked in the polar ice caps, and the rest 1% constitutes all fresh water found in rivers, streams and lakes which is suitable for our consumption. A study estimated that a person in India consumes on an average of 140 litres per day. This consumption would rise by 40% by the year 2025. This signifies the need to preserve our freshwater resources.

ABSTRACT : With the construction evolution and consequent roads and railways progressive development, emerged the need for the population to make crossings, not only to overcome geographical obstacles, but also to reduce the necessary travel time. However , one of the major problems until today has been the crossing of navigable waters. As one of the key means of global transport, server navigation could not be less important than the construction of bridges, which would affect its course. It was then necessary to find a solution that would enable navigation of rivers and at the same time their crossing. Since building bridges with adequate clearance for the passage of ships required a more elaborate work in terms of very high inclination, movable bridges became the most viable solution to this dilemma, despite all the challenges on their design. Nevertheless, movable bridges have not always had this purpose. In the Middle Age, these were used for protection against enemy’s armies. The design of movable bridges, have primary explored over the last century the typical three types of movable bridges, bascule; swing; and vertical lift. Regardless of this, innovative solutions are increasingly taking form.

ABSTRACT : The world today faces a difficult waste management problem, especially plastic waste. Thousands of tons of plastic are thrown away every day, but there is no adequate way to process and recycle the plastic world. They are nonbiodegradable wastes that do not decompose easily and pollute water, soil and air. For humans, this is the most dangerous problem. In addition, when we burn plastic waste, it releases harmful gases into the atmosphere. It has been found that hundreds of levels of plastic used in our dail lives have twice as much plastic waste in ten years. Today, large amounts of plastic are dumped into the oceans. These plastic wastes also pose a threat to the quality of water and seawater, which are waste products from these plastics. Thats why we are trying to find a good way to solve the plastic waste problem. We can reuse and recycle plastic waste. As engineering students we want to create something new about it that is good for engineering. Therefore, we develop new plastic sand bricks to try to solve this problem effectively. It is the best solution for the current construction industry and is also economical and environmentally friendly for plastic waste.

131. Bacterial Concrete as a Sustainable Building Material

AUTHOR NAME : Pratik Mehar, Pranay Palewar, Prof. Priyanka Nagdeve

ABSTRACT : Concrete is the foremost building material broadly used in building construction, but cracks in concrete are inevitable and are one of the inherent weaknesses of concrete. The major downside of concrete is its low tensile strength due to which micro crack occurs when the load applied is more than its limit and this paves way for the seepage of water and other salts. This initiates corrosion and makes the whole structure vulnerable and leads to the failure of structure. To remediate this type of failure due to cracks and fissures, an approach of using bio mineralization in concrete has evolved in recent years. In this method, of enhancing the performance of concrete, the calcite precipitating spore forming bacteria is introduced into concrete. When water enters through the cracks, it reacts with bacteria and forms precipitates of calcium carbonate, as a byproduct, which fills the cracks andmakes crack free concrete. This type of concrete prepared with bacteria is called as bacterial concrete. Thus, this paper is an attempt to define bacterial concrete, types and classification of microorganisms, working of bio concrete as a repair material, advantages and disadvantages of bacterial concrete and applications by literature review are discussed.

ABSTRACT : The stabilization of municipal solid waste (MSW) is a critical issue, and the use of additives is one potential solution. In this study, a range of additives, including lime, sawdust, and soil, were evaluated for their effectiveness in stabilizing MSW. The waste was characterized by its physical, chemical, and biological properties. The addition of lime was found to be the most effective in reducing the moisture content and stabilizing the waste, while sawdust and soil were found to be less effective. The pH values of the treated waste were found to be in the optimal range for microbial activity, and the reduction in organic matter content was observed, indicating successful stabilization of the waste. The results suggest that lime is a promising additive for the stabilization of MSW, and further research is warranted to optimize the dosage and application methods. Overall, the use of additives presents a promising approach to address the problem of MSW stabilization and could potentially contribute to the development of sustainable waste management practices.

135. Bacterial Concrete as Sustainable Building Material

AUTHOR NAME : S. D. Sonkusare, Sunaina G. Bhimte, Mahesh K. Sakharkar, Prof. Priyanka Nagdeve

ABSTRACT : Bacterial concrete is a material in which bacteria are embedded and it exploits the metabolic functions of specially selected bacteria, specifically the genus Bacillus. These bacteria are amalgamated within clay pellets along with the nutrient calcium lactate. When the concrete surrounding the pellets cracks, the pellets break, and the bacteria metabolize the calcium lactate to produce insoluble calcium carbonate, filling cracks up to approximately 2 mm wide. The addition of clay pellets and bacteria to the concrete improves its compressive and tensile strengths, making it better suited for applications where the concrete must endure severe stress. Consequently, the modulus of toughness is enhanced, although the extent of improvement depends on the grade of concrete used. Bacterial concrete offers industrial advantages as its low coefficient of permeability and high acid durability factor make it less susceptible to corrosion and reduce the need for extensive repairs. This is ideal for structures that are difficult or expensive to maintain, as well as for use in motorways that endure corrosion from salt used in de-icing. This review will focus on the properties of bacterial concrete and its industrial use, revealing that despite higher initial costs, the enhanced properties of bacterial concrete compared to conventional concrete make it a more sustainable material in the long run, with an overall benefit to global carbon emissions.

ABSTRACT : The aim of the project is to design a motorized wheelchair for disabled persons. The designed wheelchair has the capability to be operated both manually and with a motor. Disabled individuals can move from one location to another using the motor drive, and after detaching the handle, they can manually maneuver the chair to their desired position and perform their tasks. This handicapped wheelchair is a mobility aid designed to enable handicapped individuals to lead lives similar to those of able-bodied individuals. It simplifies their daily tasks by providing them with the means to move independently from one place to another. Two-way switches are used to control the wheelchairs movement in both forward and reverse directions. Attachments from a bicycle electric conversion kit are utilized in this project to incorporate electronics into the wheelchair. Since the trike has three wheels, the challenge of balancing is eliminated, making it a self-balanced vehicle that can be operated by individuals with disabilities. The addition of a larger front wheel enhances stability on uneven terrain. Additionally, we have implemented a disc brake and a 4-point safety harness for increased safety. Extensive research and development were carried out to ensure that the wheelchair and electric conversion kit components were well-suited for the project. The vehicle will undergo further evaluation, and adjustments will be made based on the results to optimize it for everyday use, providing a comfortable and safe mode of transportation. By incorporating a hub motor, we can automate the vehicle and provide the rider with the best possible comfort.
